Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer
My passion for exercise began at the tender age of 9 when I started competitive gymnastics at my local gym. I always balanced my studies with sport, until my hands-on biomechanics education from The University of Western Ontario lead me down a career path.
Under the wing of David Tracey’s 22-year National Championship Team, everyday felt like I was like going into an applied physics class. I started testing my knowledge in anatomy and physiology in the fitness industry as a young trainer in 2006. With over 10 years experience, I upgraded my skills through the Cleveland Clinic and learned that I could impact the lives of other people as a full-time fitness professional.
Leading by example turned out to be the best strategy for my business, at which point I found my work-life balance once again and later obtained a spot to represent Canada on the age-group Duathlon Team. Training for any event is what drives me to work harder with clients because I am emotionally invested in watching other’s progress.
I love working with people at any skill level, and I can appreciate the hard work it takes to reach your goals. I consider several prescriptive approaches to exercise so it can help improve the way you move through life.
